Kristy Wilson, M.Sc., R.SLP (C)
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist & Founder
Kristy Wilson earned her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta. She has focused her practice on adult swallowing challenges and acquired communication difficulties at Kelowna General Hospital and with Speech and Swallowing Services. She has specialized training in Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP™©) and adult swallowing disorders. Kristy has a special interest in:
Helping adults regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after a major life change (i.e. stroke, traumatic brain injury, diagnosis of neurodegenerative disease)

Lexa Hubert, M.Sc., R.SLP
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Lexa graduated from the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences in 2021, where she developed her clinical skills working with both adult and children populations. Since graduating, she has worked in many different settings, both in her hometown of Vancouver and since moving to Kelowna in January of 2023.
She has experience with adults with disorders of swallowing, acquired communication disorders and cognitive communication disorders. She also enjoys working with children on narrative language, expressive and receptive language and articulation skills. She is passionate about delivering care that is person-centered and that clients and their families will enjoy, while also achieving their goals.
In her spare time, Lexa enjoys spending time experimenting in the kitchen and keeping active at yoga and pilates classes.

Janice Tessman, M.A., R.SLP (C)
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Janice is a dedicated and caring Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in feeding and swallowing therapy, working with everyone from premature babies in the NICU to adults. She is committed to help clients overcome challenges related to eating. With 17 years of experience working in hospitals across Interior BC, and extensive training in assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders, she provides individualized, evidence-based interventions designed to improve sensory processing, and safe swallowing.
Her approach focuses on understanding each client’s unique needs, working closely with families and caregivers to create supportive environments that foster progress and confidence during mealtime. Whether addressing picky eating, oral aversions, oral weakness or more complex feeding disorders, my goal is to promote nutrition, independence, and positive feeding experiences.
